How Vetro works
A quick guide to buying, selling and staying protected on Vetro.
Browsing & buying
Search or browse by category, filter by city and price, and message a seller directly from any listing. When you're ready to buy, use Buy Now for an instant purchase or send an offer if the seller allows negotiation.
Buy Now vs. Make an Offer
Buy Now pays the listed price immediately and starts the order right away — use it when the price already works for you. Make an Offer proposes a different price instead: the seller can accept, decline or counter, and you can go back and forth for a few rounds. Once the seller accepts your offer, it's binding — you have 4 days to complete checkout before it's cancelled.
Shipping
Every order on Vetro ships — there's no local pickup or in-person handoff through the platform. The seller sets the shipping fee when they list the item, and it's shown on the listing and again at checkout before you pay.
Escrow & buyer protection
Payments made through Buy Now, Add to Cart or an accepted offer are held in escrow — Vetro holds the funds instead of releasing them to the seller right away. Once the seller marks the order shipped, escrow releases automatically after 14 days if you haven't confirmed receipt yourself; confirming earlier releases it sooner. If something's wrong with the order — it never arrives, it's damaged, or it isn't what was described — don't confirm receipt. Raise a dispute instead; see How disputes work below.
Deals arranged directly with a seller outside these flows aren't covered by Vetro's escrow, and Vetro doesn't guarantee those transactions.

How reviews work
Reviews unlock once an order is complete — you can't review someone you haven't actually transacted with. Both sides review each other: buyers rate sellers and sellers rate buyers, and every review is visible on the reviewed member's public profile.
How disputes work
If an order isn't as described, never arrives, or arrives damaged, raise a dispute from the order on your Orders page instead of confirming receipt. The other party then has 72 hours to respond with their side. After that — or once they've responded — our team reviews the dispute and makes a binary decision: the held funds are either refunded to the buyer or released to the seller. There are no partial refunds.
